Michael Lewis Jacobs

Michael Lewis Jacobs, 64, of Liberty Hill, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Michael’s family will gather for visitation on Sunday, July 22, 2012, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, Texas. Honoring Michael’s wishes he will be cremated.

Michael was born July 12, 1948 in Temple, Texas. Michael was raised in Temple area, graduating from Temple High School. Michael was raised by his beloved Grandfather, A. P. Boston, whom he deeply cared for and respected. Michael is preceded in death by his grandfather and his mother, Patsy Belle. Through the years, Michael was talented enough to wear many different hats for a career. Michael worked as a Sheriff Deputy for Bell County for several years. Later in life Michael worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Concordia University and several apartment complexes. He enjoyed working and fixing things for others. He was known as one who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed. Michael married Judy A. Spears on October 31, 1991. Together they moved to Liberty Hill, Texas. Michael was very involved in his community in Liberty Hill. He enjoyed helping around town, hanging Christmas lights, help with clean up and all kinds of fund raisers. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather, his helpful spirit and care will be truly missed.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of over 21 years, Judy A. Jacobs; his children, Michael Jacobs, Jimmy Jacobs, Brandi Partain and her husband David Swope, Jennifer Stoetzel and her husband Josh Cline, Mark Partain and his wife Amber Badilla and Ryan Jacobs; his mother-in-law, Helen Angerstein; his grandchildren, Noah Swope, Micah Swope, Landon Cline, Levi Cline, McKenzie Jacobs, Chloe Serena, Samantha Jacobs, Caitlyn Partain, and Mark Partain, Jr.; along with a host of loving friends and extend family.

Michael’s family request that memorial donations be made to the American Lung Cancer Association.
